Roger S. Bisbey, DDS
Dr. Bisbey is a 1981 graduate of the College of Dentistry at the University of Iowa. He spent ten years in private practice in Iowa before joining Family Dentist Tree in 1991. Dr. Bisbey is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Iowa and has attended postgraduate education at The Dawson Academy. He holds membership in the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, Zumbro Valley Dental Society, and Rochester Occlusion Society.
He and his wife of 28 years, Julie, have three children: Jessica, Erica, and Scott. Dr. Bisbey enjoys golf, skiing and travel.
Michael F. Lose, DDS
Born in Racine, Wisconsin, Dr. Michael Lose ended up in Fort Dodge, Iowa during his junior high and high school years. After attending college at The University of St. Thomas in St. Paul and dental school at Creighton University in Omaha, he practiced dentistry in Ironwood, Michigan. Dr. Lose joined Family Dentist Tree in 1985 and has enjoyed watching the practice grow into their new office.
Dr. Lose volunteers at Good Samaritan Dental Clinic, and he’s a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, and Zumbro Valley Dental Society, for which he served 6 years on the board. He is an active member of Resurrection Catholic Church, and is a board member of the Lourdes Foundation. After hours, he enjoys all kinds of sports, but particularly likes basketball, golf, and tennis.
With Mary, his wife of over 30 years, Dr. Lose has two sons. Dan attends The University of Iowa, pursuing his nursing degree. Andrew attends Marquette University and is in the Physical Therapy program.
Jacob M. Peters, DDS
Dr. Jake Peters was born and raised in Mankato, but is now happy to call Rochester home. While earning his biology degree from the University of Minnesota, Dr. Peters discovered a keen interest in dentistry. He continued at ‘the U’ and earned his DDS in 2009. Dr. Peters enjoys the scientific and hands-on aspects of dentistry, but especially loves the rewards that come from helping people achieve their specific dental goals. Dr. Peters enjoys being active in the dental profession and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association and the Zumbro Valley Dental Society. Dr. Peters also serves as a clinical instructor in the Rochester Community and Technical College Dental Hygiene program and enjoys volunteering at the Good Samaritan Dental Clinic in Rochester.
While away from the office, Dr. Peters likes to stay active playing tennis, basketball and downhill skiing. Dr. Peters’ wife, Andrea, is also a dentist and practices in St. Charles. When away from dentistry, Dr. Peters and his wife enjoy working on projects around the house and spending time with friends and family.
Robert R. Stroope, DDS
Dr. Robert Stroope is a married, forty-something eclectic. Branching out from software engineering for IBM, he launched his dental career at Family Dentist Tree in 2001 after graduating from The University of Minnesota Dental School. An avid lifelong learner, Dr. Stroope keeps abreast of the latest dental techniques, materials, and technologies. Stemming from a strong desire to help others, he frequently volunteers at Good Samaritan Dental Clinic in Rochester. Normally self-deprecating, Dr. Stroope “toots his own horn” as a euphoniumist with the Rochester Community Band.
Christina, Dental Hygienist
Christina joined us in 2011 after graduating from Argosy University. She also attended the University of Minnesota Morris where she played college basketball. She lives in Rochester with her husband Paul. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at the lake and being with friends and family.
Donna, Dental Hygienist
Donna joined us in 2001. She earned her dental assisting degree from Rochester Vo-Tech and her dental hygiene degree from Rochester Community and Technical College. She finds that every day brings a new and stimulating challenge. Donna is married and has two sons. They enjoy camping and boating in the summer, and downhill/cross-country skiing in the winter. Donna also likes taking long walks.
Francie, Dental Hygienist
Francie has worked as a hygienist with Family Dentist Tree since 1995. She enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Dean, and children Jacob, Joey and Katie. She loves to be outside boating and gardening, as well as staying in watching movies.
Michelle, Dental Hygienist
Michelle joined our practice in 2004, three years after earning her degree and ceramist certification. She enjoys spending time in the sun and snow with her husband, Tyler, and three daughters, Paige, Reese and Preslee. When we asked her what she likes best about her job, she said, “I feel good about giving my patients excellent care.”
Savay, Dental Hygienist
Savay has spent her entire career with us – since 1995. She received her Associate of Applied Science degree from Riverland Technical College. Savay is married, and she likes to spend her downtime outdoors. Fishing and boating are among her favorite pastimes. She says her biggest satisfaction on the job comes from helping patients improve their oral health.
Valerie, Dental Hygienist
Valerie joined us in 2006 after earning her Associate of Applied Science degree from Rochester Community and Technical College. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeff, and two boys, Jack and Calvin.
Ann, Dental Assistant
Ann has been with us since 2001. She’s a graduate of Rochester Community and Technical College. She enjoys family time with her husband Jon and children Adrian, Lilly and Derek. She likes the friendly staff and helping our patients at Family Dentist Tree.
Bridget, Dental Assistant
Bridget has been with us since 1988. She’s a graduate of Lakeland Medical Dental Academy in Minneapolis. When she’s away from the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her two children. Gardening, hiking and anything outdoors are her favorite pastimes. Bridget is a volunteer at Good Samaritan Dental Clinic. She says it’s fun to make patients feel at ease with all the little “extras” we provide at Family Dentist Tree.
Janet, Dental Assistant
Janet re-joined our practice in 2010. She is a graduate of the Rochester Community and Technical College Dental Assistant program. She is married and has two beautiful children. She enjoys deer hunting in the fall with her husband and spending time with her children.
Jennifer, Dental Assistant
Jennifer joined our practice in 2008 after graduating from the Rochester Community and Technical College Dental Assistant program. She enjoys running and spending time with her three children, family and friends.
Megan, Dental Assistant
Megan has been with us since 2004. She’s a graduate of Rochester Community and Technical College.
Rebecca, Dental Assistant
Rebecca joined our practice in 2008 after graduating from Rochester Community and Technical College. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Brooke, Appointment Coordinator
Brooke joined our practice in 2006 after six years in the profession. She’s a graduate of Dakota County Technical College. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and daughter Morgan.
Karen, Appointment Coordinator
Karen is a 30-year veteran of the dental profession and has been with us since 2005. She’s a graduate of Hennepin Technical College in Brooklyn Park. She began her career as a clinic supervisor in the Orthodontic Department of the University Of Minnesota Dental School. From there, she went on to a variety of other positions in the dental field. Karen’s experience as a skilled scheduling coordinator comes in handy as she juggles her time between her daughter’s and fiancé’s schedules.
Lori, Office Manager
Lori has been in the dental field for over twenty years, beginning her career as a dental assistant. She joined Family Dentist Tree in 1990, and specializes in making comfortable financial arrangements. She is always available to address any questions or concerns you have regarding your dental experience. She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and is a real animal lover who enjoys the great outdoors.
Marie, Business Manager
Marie has been with us since 1993. She has three sons; Jake is a recent graduate from North Dakota State University, Jared is at Rochester Community and Technical College, and Jason attends Lourdes High School.
McKenzie, Appointment Coordinator
McKenzie joined our practice in 2011 after four years in the dental profession. She is a graduate of Rochester Community and Technical College and St. Cloud State University. She enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, Mason and Dagny.
