Dr. Templeton was born and raised in Edina, Minnesota. She attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science. She went on to graduate from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2014. After graduating from dental school, she completed a General Practice Residency at the Minneapolis Veterans Administration (VA) Health Care System Dental Clinic in 2015 and remained as staff following completion of the program.
While attending dental school, she met Nick Kenning. She and Nick were married in October 2015. Kenning is also a graduate of Creighton University School of Dentistry and is completing his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical residency at the Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Templeton believes that dentistry is in her genes as she is surrounded by a family of dentists. She really became a dentist to serve others and make them smile.
Outside of work, she enjoys scuba diving, skiing, running and hanging out with friends. She also spends her time volunteering her dental services, especially at the Rochester Good Samaritan Dental Clinic. Dr. Templeton is excited to be a part of the Rochester community.
