Dr. Taryn Bell grew up in Rochester, Minnesota, and has dreamed of becoming a dentist since she was 4 years old. She earned her degree in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry at the University of Minnesota Duluth before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Dr. Bell’s passion for serving her community was nurtured through years of volunteering at the Good Samaritan Dental Clinic, and she is thrilled to now care for patients in her hometown.
Dr. Bell met her husband, Jake, in 9th grade, and they have been inseparable ever since. After living in Duluth and Minneapolis, they are excited to be back in Rochester with their two dogs, Millie and Reggie.
In her downtime, Dr. Bell enjoys hiking, fishing, walking her dogs, and unwinding with a good movie or Netflix series. She also looks forward to expanding her horizons by traveling to new and exciting destinations, especially internationally.
If you had to pick only one food to eat everyday for the rest of your life, what would it be? Pizza!
What dessert did you always ask for on your birthday when you were a kid? Mini donuts from one of the trucks at Rochesterfest!
Dr. Taylor Cooper grew up in Rochester, MN, and has always felt a deep connection to her community. She graduated from Winona State University in 2019 and spent her gap year working as a dental assistant at Family Dentist Tree. Inspired by her experience, Dr. Cooper earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Minnesota in 2024 and is excited to return home to care for the community she loves.
Dr. Cooper’s artistic side shines through in her dental work, influenced by her passion for ceramics and pottery. She values forming lifelong relationships with her patients and approaches every appointment with care, empathy, and dedication.
In her free time, Dr. Cooper enjoys boating in the summer, cooking, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends. A proud Minnesota Vikings fan, she never misses a chance to cheer on her team—always decked out in purple! Skol Vikings!

Dr. Anna Kosch is a Rochester native and a proud Century Panther alumi. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Minnesota, graduating with high distinction and membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honors society. Dr. Kosch has also achieved Fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
Guided by her Christian faith, Dr. Kosch approaches dental care with compassion and empathy with a focus on community service. She is a dedicated volunteer at the Good Samaritan Dental Clinic and enjoys connecting with her patients through her work.
Outside the office, Dr. Kosch and her husband, Matt, love exploring new cities and taking adventures with their dogs, Pixel and Zelda. As a lifelong learner, Dr. Kosch enjoys reading, discovering new hobbies, and tackling creative house projects.

Dr. John Mettler is a proud Iowa native. He earned his B.A. in Food Science and Technology from Iowa State University in 2015 and went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) at the University of Iowa in 2019. A lifelong passion for dentistry, sparked in kindergarten, has driven Dr. Mettler to continually grow in his field to better support his patients.
In his free time, Dr. Mettler enjoys staying active with fishing, golf, running, and working out. He also loves to travel whenever possible. While he now calls Rochester home, he remains an avid Cyclone and Hawkeye fan. Dedicated to giving back, Dr. Mettler frequently volunteers at the Good Samaritan Dental Clinic and the Minnesota Mission of Mercy.
Dr. Mettler’s family is a source of great pride and inspiration. His parents, Bob and Cindy, still live in Cedar Rapids, IA. He has an older sister, Allison, who is a veterinarian in Nebraska, and a younger brother, Mark, who works as a funeral director in Red Wing, MN.
What is your favorite way to spend a day off? Usually doing something outdoors. Nowadays that means hitting a golf course, going for a hike, or going fishing.
What dessert did you always ask for on your birthday when you were a kid? Many years I would ask for pumpkin pie instead of birthday cake. It couldn't be any pumpkin pie though, it had to be one that my mom made.

Change bio to say: Dr. Jacob Peters was born and raised in Mankato and is proud to now call Rochester home. He earned his biology degree from the University of Minnesota and continued at “the U” to receive his D.D.S. in 2009. Dedicated to lifelong learning and excellence in dentistry, Dr. Peters earned the prestigious Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also passionate about esthetic dentistry and is currently pursuing accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Outside the office, Dr. Peters enjoys just about every racquet sport imaginable — squash, tennis, pickleball, padel…all of them! You may also find him wandering the aisles of Costco or picking out another kitchen gadget he probably doesn’t really need. A lifelong Minnesota sports fan, he enthusiastically cheers on all the home teams.
Dr. Peters’ wife, Andrea, is also a dentist and practices in Elgin, Minnesota. Together, they have two children, Vivian (13) and George (10), and a dog named Roger.
If we held an office talent show, I’d wow everyone with my…Yo-Yo skills. I worked at Yo-Yo kiosk in high school and got really good at all the tricks, I even was hired to perform at a few birthday parties.
Favorite “bad for your teeth” snack? Anything sour and chewy: Skittles, Airheads etc. I know it’s terrible, but sometimes I just can’t resist 😊

Dr. Chelsea Reis was born in St. Paul and grew up in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. She is a true Golden Gopher fan, having graduated from the University of Minnesota with a biology degree in 2014, followed by her D.D.S. in 2019. Inspired by her father’s career in dentistry, Dr. Reis strives to “go the extra mile” for each patient, providing quality and compassionate dental care. She is an Invisalign® Provider and volunteers at the Good Samaritan Dental Clinic.
In her free time, Dr. Reis enjoys staying as active as possible by biking, hiking, and having campfires with her family. She loves visiting national parks and hopes to explore more in the future. In the meantime, she appreciates the beautiful scenery that Minnesota offers, even during the winter months.

At Family Dentist Tree, our talented team is the foundation of our success. From the front desk to the operatory, each team member is dedicated to creating a welcoming and stress-free experience for every patient.
Savay has spent her entire career with us since 1995. Savay is married, and she likes to spend her downtime outdoors. Fishing and gardening are among her favorite pastimes. She says her biggest satisfaction on the job comes from helping patients improve their oral health.
Brooke graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2009 with her BS in Dental Hygiene. When she is not working, she loves spending time outdoors with her husband, daughter and son, camping, hiking and walking their yellow lab.
Francie has been a member of Family Dentist Tree for many years. She enjoys her work as a Dental Hygienist and adores her patients and the great staff she is able to work with everyday.
Christina joined us in 2011 after graduating from Argosy University. She lives in Rochester with her husband and two sons. When she’s not busy cleaning teeth, she enjoys watching her kids participate in sports.
Mackenzie graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at RCTC in 2021 and has been with us since. When she is not working, you can find her chasing around her three children. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking and remodeling her home.
Brook joined Family Dentist Tree in 2019. She graduated from RCTC in 2019 with her A.A.S. and from Metropolitan State University in 2021 with her B.S. in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and being outdoors in her free time.
Jenna joined Family Dentist Tree in 2021 after graduating from Minnesota State University, Mankato. In her free time she enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Lexie graduated from the RCTC Dental Hygiene Program in 2021. She enjoys being outdoors, baking and spending time with her husband, kids and dog.
Thea graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at RCTC and joined Family Dentist Tree in 2022. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and being outdoors.
Alicyn joined Family Dentist Tree in 2021. In her free time she likes to spend time outdoors with her family and friends. She enjoys making personal connections with patients while expanding her knowledge of dentistry.
Ann has been with us since 2001. She’s a graduate of Rochester Community and Technical College. She enjoys family time with her husband and four children. She likes the friendly staff and helping our patients at Family Dentist Tree.
Megan graduated from RCTC in 2004. She worked at Family Dentist Tree for 10 years before deciding to stay home for six years to raise her two daughters. She is excited to be back at Family Dentist Tree!
Jen joined our practice in 2008 after graduating from the RCTC Dental Assistant program. At work she enjoys interaction with patients and helping them feel comfortable during treatment. At home, she enjoys family time with her husband and family.
Kelsey grew up in Hayfield, MN. She graduated from the Rochester Community and Technical College assisting program in 2016. She enjoys four wheeling, playing volleyball, and spending time with her husband, two daughters, family and friends.
Arianna joined Family Dentist Tree in 2022. She loves getting to know her patients and making them feel comfortable. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Dani joined our practice in 2023 after graduating from the RCTC Dental Assistant Program. She enjoys meeting every patient and watching their smile shine. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and dog, Boone.
Madi joined Family Dentist Tree in 2023. She graduated from the dental assisting program in 2022. She loves meeting new patients everyday, and spending time with family, friends and her new puppy, Rio!
Lakin joined Family Dentist Tree in January of 2023. She graduated from the Dental Assisting program at RCTC in 2025. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time at the gym, watching sports, and spending time with family and her dog, Chance.
Abdalla joined Family Dentist Tree in 2024. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota Rochester. He loves talking to and getting to know our patients! He is planning on attending school in the coming year to begin his path to becoming a dentist.
Kim joined our practice in 2012. She enjoys being outdoors, reading, cooking and spending time with her dogs, family and friends.
Brooke is a Licensed Dental Assistant and our Business Administrator who joined Family Dentist Tree in 2006. She has enjoyed getting to know our patients over the years and many have become like family. She can't wait to include many more in this list in the future. You can always find Brooke with a smile on her face! She enjoys hanging out with her husband, two children, family and friends, going camping up north and fishing.
Samantha is a Licensed Dental Assistant who joined Family Dentist Tree in 2012. She is our Treatment Coordinator and loves taking the extra time with our patients to answer any questions and making them feel comfortable. When she is not at work, she enjoys reading, cooking, walking with her fur-baby, Libby, and spending time with her husband. Her close attention to detail makes her a valuable key to our success.
Holly joined the Family Dentist Tree team in 2019. She graduated from the University of Northwestern, in St. Paul, with a bachelor's degree in psychology, bringing both knowledge and compassion to her role. Holly is especially passionate about helping make Family Dentist Tree more accessible - an initiative close to her heart. Outside of work she loves all things crafty, and spending quality time with her husband and their two children.
Elynn has been with Family Dentist Tree since 2022. When she gets time off, she loves to travel. She has been to 10 countries outside of the United States. She is slowly working her way through visiting all of the National Parks.
Chase has been with Family Dentist Tree since July 2023. He enjoys spending time with his wife, friends and family. When not at work, you can find him on the golf course or playing video games. He is an avid sports fan.
Amber graduated from UMA with an associate’s degree in healthcare technology. She has worked in administrative rolls in the dental field since 2018, and joined Family Dentist Tree in January 2024. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and her three kids.
